Spice Up Your Senior Session

One of my most asked questions after booking a senior session is, "what props should I bring?" The real answer is whatever fits your personality and describes your high school experience best. Props are a great way to add to a photo session and bring out your personality, don't forget this session is all about you, the senior.

Here are some of my favorite go to props:

1. Dogs

For some seniors their dog is their best friend so bring he/she along. I promise you won't regret it and your pups will love it too.

2.Acceptance Letters

An acceptance letter is the perfect way to show off all your hard work and where you'll be headed in the next chapter of your life.

3.Ballons

I love a big bundle of balloons to show just how excited a senior is to be graduating. Graduation is a happy time, a big accomplishment, and a celebration, what better way to celebrate than with balloons? Whether it be colorful balloons or your class year the fun never stops with balloons as a prop.

Most of the time you can find a pretty great balloon selection at Target and have them filled with helium at your local Party City.

4.Confetti

You can never go wrong with confetti, it's the perfect addition to any senior session! If you don't think so bring it anyway, you might just change your mind.

My favorite confetti is sold online through Amazon, with multiple color options you can decide which is your favorite, or if you'd like to have them all: https://www.amazon.com/Multicolor-Tissue-Confetti-Ultimate/dp/B00I55X15S?ref_=ast_slp_dp&th=1

5. Flowers

Flowers are a classic but are the perfect pop of color and they also give you something to play off of when it comes to posing. I love big bundles of tulips, sunflowers, roses, or even pretty daises to add to a senior session. H-E-B always has the freshest selection of beautiful flowers to choose from making it easy to swing by and pick up on your way to your senior shoot with no hassle.

6. Cap and Gown

Bringing your cap and gown is a great addition and perfect way to capture just exactly what it is you're accomplishing.
